Web design and development · WordPress, Shopify, Framer, customA website that earns its keep

Your site is the only member of your sales team who works at 2am. We build it to load fast on a phone, to rank for what you sell, to turn attention into enquiries, and to be yours to update without calling anyone.

What a build includes

Discovery: what the site has to do, who lands on it and what they need to see to enquire. Structure and wireframes with the SEO manager in the room from day one, so every page is planned around a search someone actually makes. Design in the brand you have, or the brand we build alongside. Development on WordPress, Shopify or Framer depending on what you sell and who will run it. Speed and accessibility as build requirements, not a plugin added later. Analytics, tracking and forms connected to your CRM before launch. Training and handover, then the site is yours.

WordPress, Shopify or Framer?

WordPress for content led businesses and anything that needs to grow in odd directions: this site, Call Mr Fix It, Blue Light Services. Shopify for stores: Viking Shop Suple sells supplements on it and we are a Shopify Partner. Framer for fast, design heavy sites where the client wants to edit visually. We are also a Framer Expert. The audit tells you which one, and we will say if the honest answer is to keep what you have and fix it.

What we have built

Websites for Speeds Campers, Blue Light Services, Travel Ink Media, Thames Valley Campers, Wheels VT, Call Mr Fix It, Giant Jiu Jitsu, GoMo Garden Pods, Viking Shop Suple, Turbo Snail and Boyana Brows, among others. Travel Ink Media, a photographer’s portfolio, went from a slow, heavy site to a 98% page speed score. The projects page has the stills.

After launch

You own the site, the domain and the hosting. Most clients keep us on for updates, speed monitoring and the monthly SEO report because the same developers who built it are the fastest people to change it, but there is no lock in. If you leave, the site goes with you.

From brief to launch

Discovery first: a call about what the site has to do and who lands on it, then a look at the searches your customers make, because the page structure comes from those. Wireframes next, agreed before any colour goes on. Design in your brand, built in WordPress, Shopify or Framer, with speed and accessibility checked at every stage rather than at the end. Content goes in with the SEO manager reading it, forms are wired to your CRM, tracking is tested with real enquiries, and launch happens on a quiet morning with the old site kept as a fallback. Then a month of watching the numbers before anyone calls it finished.

How the fee is set

By scope, not by hours. The proposal lists the pages, the platform, the integrations (booking, payments, CRM, stock) and whether we are writing the copy or fitting yours, and the fee is fixed against that list. Changes to the brief mid build are priced as changes, openly, rather than absorbed and resented. After launch you choose: a monthly plan for updates, speed monitoring and SEO with the developers who built the site, or nothing at all, because the site, the domain and the hosting are already in your name.

Questions

Questions

How long does a website take?
A brochure site of ten to fifteen pages usually takes six to eight weeks from the first call to launch. Stores and larger sites take longer. We fix the date at the proposal and plan shoot days for photography and video into the same timeline.
Do we own the website?
Yes. Domain, hosting, code and content are in your name from the start. We do not build on platforms that trap you.
Will it rank on Google?
It will be built to. Structure, speed, headings, schema and content are planned with our SEO manager before design starts. Rankings then depend on the market and the ongoing work, which is why most clients pair a build with SEO.
Can we update it ourselves?
Yes. Every build ends with a training session and a short guide. Prices, photos, team members and posts are editable without touching code.
Can you fix our existing site instead of rebuilding it?
Often, yes, and we will say so if that is the better spend. Speed, structure and conversion problems can usually be fixed in place; a rebuild is for sites that cannot be made fast or cannot be edited.
Will you write the copy?
Yes, with your subject knowledge and our writing, and with the SEO manager reading every page before it goes live. Or we fit the copy you already have.
