Personal Data
AMW Media Ltd ("AMW Media") uses the information we collect from you to provide quotations, make telephone contact, and email you digital marketing information which we believe may be of interest to you and your business. By making initial contact with us, you consent to AMW Media maintaining a marketing dialogue with you until you either opt out (which you can do at any stage) or we decide to discontinue communications.
AMW Media may also act on behalf of its clients as a data processor. When working exclusively as a data processor, we will act solely on the instructions of our client and take all necessary steps to ensure that the client remains fully compliant with applicable data protection laws, including the UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Some personal data may be collected from the forms and surveys you complete, from records of our correspondence and telephone calls, and details of your visits to our website – including, but not limited to, personally identifying information such as Internet Protocol (IP) addresses. We may also use this information to compile statistics about the behaviour of visitors to our website.
Meta Platform Data
AMW Media operates AMW Reports (reports.amwmedia.co.uk), a dedicated client reporting application that connects to Meta Platform APIs via Facebook Login and the Meta Graph API. AMW Reports is used to provide agency clients with performance data from their connected channels.
Data we collect via Meta APIs:
- Facebook Page data: Page performance metrics including impressions, reach, organic vs paid impressions, engagement, page views, video views, follower counts, post reactions, and page activity (via read_insights and pages_read_engagement). Published post content including captions and engagement counts (via pages_read_user_content).
- Instagram account data: Profile information, follower count, media count, post thumbnails (via instagram_basic), and account-level and post-level performance metrics including reach, impressions, profile views, website clicks, saves, and video views (via instagram_manage_insights).
- Meta Ads data: Campaign-level performance data including impressions, clicks, spend, CTR, CPC, CPM, reach, and frequency across ad accounts (via ads_read and ads_management — Ads Management Standard Access).
- Business and Page metadata: Business portfolio information, connected ad accounts, and Facebook Pages managed under Meta Business Manager (via business_management and Business Asset User Profile Access). Page metadata required for syncing insights (via pages_manage_metadata). List of Facebook Pages managed by the authenticated user (via pages_show_list).
This data is displayed in client dashboards and exported into monthly PDF performance reports. No content is modified, deleted, or republished through AMW Reports.
Meta Platform Disclosure: This app uses the Meta Platform APIs. Data obtained through Meta APIs is used solely to provide reporting and analytics features within AMW Reports. We do not share, sell, or transfer Meta user data to third parties.
Data Storage and Retention
Data collected via the Meta Platform APIs and other integrations is stored in secure cloud infrastructure. Page-level access tokens are stored securely and encrypted at rest.
We retain Meta-related performance data for the duration of the client relationship plus a reasonable period thereafter (typically 12 months) to allow for historical reporting and account reconciliation. Upon request, data can be deleted sooner — see "Your Rights Regarding Meta Data" below.
We do not sell your data to third parties. Data is used solely for the purposes of providing reporting and analytics services to our agency clients.
