Case study · Giant Jiu Jitsu · Chesham, BuckinghamshireA new club, a new brand, and the best website in town

Giant Jiu Jitsu is a Brazilian jiu jitsu club in Chesham that opened in 2026. The founder, Jack, knew how to run a mat. He did not want to spend his evenings learning web design and CRM software, so we did the brand, the site and the systems while he got on with the classes.

Ollie did an absolutely unbelievable job of the branding and website design - it's truly incredible… Matt built our club website in Framer and, thanks to him, we have the best website in town!

Who they are

A new BJJ club in Chesham offering classes, memberships and courses for adults and children. Like most new gyms it started with a coach, a room and a strong idea of the culture it wanted, and none of the marketing infrastructure that turns curious locals into members: no brand, no website, no way to follow up a trial booking.

The problem they came with

Jack’s review says it plainly: he had set up the club and was quite lost when it came to the website and social media side of running a business. A martial arts club competes with every other gym in a ten mile radius and with the big franchise operators. It needed to look established from day one, take trial bookings on a phone, and never lose an enquiry because nobody replied.

What we did, and why

Brand identity first. Ollie, our creative director, designed the Giant identity: logo, colours, type and the visual language that runs through the mats, the kit and the site. A club that looks like a franchise from the outside gets treated like one.

A website built in Framer. Matt, our head of web, built giantjiujitsu.co.uk in Framer so it is fast, easy for the club to edit and simple to extend as classes and courses grow. Timetable, memberships, courses and a trial booking route on every page, designed for the phone screen where parents and adults actually look.

A CRM, and the time to learn it. Every trial booking and enquiry lands in the CRM, gets an instant reply and a reminder, and is followed up automatically if it goes quiet. Amir walked Jack through it in person until he could run it himself, which is the part of the job most agencies skip and the part his review mentions first.

The result

A club that opened looking like it had been there for years, a website Jack calls the best in town, and a founder who does not spend his evenings on admin. His five star Google review, written a few months after launch, is below. Membership figures are the club’s own and are not published here.

Questions

Questions

What should a martial arts gym website include?
A timetable, clear membership options, a trial or first class booking that works on a phone, coach profiles and the culture of the club in pictures and video. Giant Jiu Jitsu has all of that on a Framer site the club can edit itself.
Why build a gym website in Framer?
Framer sites are fast, look sharp on every screen and are easy for an owner to update without a developer. For a small club that will add classes and courses over time, that matters more than a heavy content management system.
Do gyms need a CRM?
If you want trial bookings to turn into members, yes. The CRM confirms the booking, reminds the person, and follows up when they do not sign up on the day. That follow up is where most gyms lose people.
How much does branding and a website cost for a new gym?
We quote after a call based on what the club needs, so there are no prices here. The Giant project covered brand identity, the Framer website and the CRM set up as one piece of work.
