Case study · MUK Microcement · CheltenhamPremium finish, filmed properly
MUK Microcement install microcement and terrazzo from Cheltenham, with depots in Solihull and Hereford, for homeowners, architects and contractors. Founder Alfie Sutton has an art and design background, and the content had to match the finish.
Client websitewww.mukmicrocement.co.uk ↗Who they are
A specialist installer of seamless microcement and terrazzo surfaces: floors, walls, wet rooms, worktops and the occasional steam room. The work is beautiful and almost impossible to explain in words, which is exactly why it belongs on video. The audience is split between homeowners renovating, and architects and contractors specifying a finish for a project.
The problem they came with
Show architects and homeowners what microcement actually looks like being applied and finished, build a social presence worthy of a premium trade, and be found on Google for the searches that matter. The company had 710 Instagram followers, a website getting a couple of hundred sessions a month and an average Google position in the high twenties, which is page three.
What we did, and why
A video content plan of 26 ideas with a capture plan, so one day on site produces the process films, the before and afters and the team introductions that a premium trade needs. The first eight films came out of the first shoot.
Social media management on Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn. Instagram for homeowners and designers, LinkedIn for the architects and contractors who specify.
Google Business Profile, GA4 and Search Console set up and tracked, with on page work aimed at the microcement searches in the company’s area.
The results so far
Instagram video views went from 766 in July 2026 to 6,532 in August, more than a five times rise in the first month of planned content, with engagement rate at 2.45% and profile visits up from 104 to 262. The best performing pieces were a steam room shaped in microcement, a film on why the finish works throughout a home, and an introduction to Kris, the lead installer.
On search, the site’s average Google position improved from 27.3 in August 2025 to 14.7 in April 2026, and Google Business Profile views went from 356 to 501 a month over the year. The profile carries 16 reviews at five stars. Website sessions rose from 224 to 379 a month. It is early, and we say so.
