ABOUT THE ROLE
AMW Media is a High Wycombe-based digital marketing agency specialising in social media management, Meta and Google ads, content creation and graphic design. We work with ambitious small and medium-sized businesses across the UK, from Manchester down to the south coast.
We are looking for a B2B Growth Strategist and Business Development Manager to drive lead generation, manage the sales process end-to-end, and build long-term relationships with the clients you bring in. You will be the face of AMW to your prospects, working closely with our creative and strategy teams to make sure delivery matches the promise.
This is a part-time role (20 hours per week) with a clear pathway to a full-time position based on performance.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
You'll own the full sales cycle, from first outreach to close, and stay close to clients after they sign. Day to day, this means:
- Prospect B2B clients via outbound, networking and LinkedIn social selling.
- Build and manage a qualified sales pipeline from first touch to close.
- Run discovery calls and present AMW Media's services consultatively.
- Build tailored proposals and pitch decks for prospective clients.
- Attend industry events, networking meetings and online communities to generate leads.
- Hit and exceed monthly and quarterly new business targets.
- Be the primary point of contact for clients you bring in and ensure a smooth handover to delivery.
- Run regular check-ins with active clients to monitor satisfaction and surface upsell opportunities.
- Proactively address client concerns before they escalate, maintaining high retention.
- Gather client feedback and feed insights back to the creative and strategy teams.
- Identify upsell opportunities across web design, SEO, PPC and email marketing.
- Provide regular reporting on pipeline activity, conversion rates and revenue forecasts.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
We're looking for someone commercial, organised and people-first. Ideally you bring:
- Proven experience in lead generation and sales with a track record of hitting targets.
- Marketing and event planning expertise, able to conceptualise and execute campaigns.
- Hands-on experience with CRM tools and pipeline best practices.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills.
- Proactive mindset with excellent organisation and project management.
- Familiarity with digital marketing services is a strong plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or related field preferred.
